The Monk Brewery & Kitchen
I always forget that The Monk has an indoor section as well as a big outdoor area out front. So on cold nights it looks like the place is a bit empty then you walk out the back and there’s loads of people.
AS far as I know The Monk it’s a restaurant more than a bar so technically you’re meant to have food with the drink you purchase. The menu is tapas style, which means in this case lots of small portion dishes ranging from $13-20 but there are a few mains on offer averaging at about $30. They serve food past 9pm, good to know in Fremantle when a lot of places are closing up for the night at that point.

Pint of Krolsh

Sticky pork belly, seared scallops with bean sprout salad, beer batter fries & chicken salad. Little Creatures and The Norfolk still win for their fries, The Monks weren’t amazing and the portion was kind of tiny for $9.
