Bicycles Are So Hot Right Now
There’s a couple of bicycle related events coming up soon and one of them involves free food.
Ride to Work Day is designed to get you off your arse and on to your bike, go green and heathly all at once. Head over to Kings Square between 7am and 9am on the 12th of October and you’ll get a free (nutritional so they say) breakfast. There’ll also be a draw with prizes:
- Repair kits
- Bike Accessories
- Latest cycling gear
- Free bike checks are available by local experienced bike mechanics
- Fremantle Leisure Centre membership and complementary passes

The Fremantle Bicycle Users Group is organising a family bike picnic on Sunday 23rd October. Once again fun stuff and prizes will be involved.
Finally the Hatch Ocean Ride for MS (from Fremantle to Hillarys) is kicking off at the Pickled Fig in South Beach on the 23rd of October. Tomorrow morning at 11am ambassador Josh Kennedy of the West Coast Eagles will be riding around along the beach in an Indian rickshaw to promote the event.
